Where We Came From and Why we are here.

I am going to explain to you where we came from and where we are going after death. Growing up in a mormon household I have always been taught these principles, it was not untill I meet someone not of our faith that I realized that not every one knows where we came from and where we go after death. I can not even imagine losing a family member and thinking I would never see them again. But lets start at the beginning. Before we came to earth we lived in Heaven or another name for it is the Pre-mortal Life. We did not have bodies, we were all spirits. In Heaven there were two plans. The first plan was sugested by our Savior, Jesus Christ. The second by his brother, Satan, or another name we know him by is Lucifure. These plans where taken to their father which is our Heavenly Father. The first plan (the plan of Jesus) involved coming down to earth and be crucified for us so that we could come back to our Heavenly Father, by choose and Jesus would give the glory to Heavenly Father. Satan on the other hand wanted to force everyone to come back and we would have no agency and Satan would keep the glory.

Everyone then choose a plan and those who chose Satans plan was cast out of Heaven and did not receive a body. Those who chose Jesus’s plan received a body and was sent to earth. We are where to be tested to see if we are worthy to return to Heaven and be in the presents of our Heavenly Father. The way we can do this is live righteously and keep the commandments.

I would like to leave with you my testimony that I know that we are here for a purpose and we are a special people. I feel our Savior's love for us and I know that if we do all that the Savior asks of us then we will be saved. Jesus loves and cares for us and He is there wanting to help us, all we need to do is come unto Him. In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, amen.
